Ashland Resource Center - Vision and Purpose

At one point during the "Inter-Generational Cafe Dialogue" last Fall when we were stating our roles I stood up and declared my role as ORGANIZER for the Ashland Resource Center. ARC is a powerful, web-based forum for ongoing conversation and resource sharing in all systems areas vital to the southern Oregon community.

The Ashland Resource Center is an opportunity for everyone to have a creative platform to share themselves, their offerings and gifts to the extended community for all to see. ARC was created to raise our personal identity beyond mere self-interest to that of the greater whole and common good.

From Source Into "Network" Identity

By raising ourselves up from a limited egocentric identity (both individually and organizationally) into an non-exclusive “network” identity, each of us raises the energy field and exchange potential exponentially. True love is defined as unconditional, non-exclusive and undivided. When we raise each other up beyond separation consciousness into source/unity consciousness then everything is possible.

Whereas self-promotion and ego–centered behavior creates resistance in others, genuine service to others lowers the barriers to communications, networking and resource-sharing. By taking this action we are all raised up (whether we’re aware of this or not). Being in service is the best self-promotion of all. This is what all the great teachers, healers and entrepreneurs are really about.

Each of us must master the art of communications beyond mere attention-getting, energy-taking and unconscious control dramas which keep us all separate and wanting. This is the primary end-game of the old paradigm, who’s going to control the energy and attention of the masses?

But in the alternative all of us can thrive in the land of plenty when this evolutionary shift occurs whether voluntarily by choice, or involuntarily by force if the system in collapse has their way with us. The choice is yours!

Taking this step into “network” identity is the evolutionary edge of our time, the real significance of social networking and emerging web technology propelling growth at 1,000 new social networks per day and a current Facebook of over 100 million users growing at 100,000 members per day.

This is an evolutionary wave worth riding. So jump on board!

Riding the Fresh Wave of Resource Centers

The Ashland Resource Center is open to the field to all human beings willing to share events, projects, information and media with each other in a highly sophisticated way with powerful tools for everyone to use. This is the best platform available locally for accomplishing shared visions and objectives towards creating a sustainable community (in all areas of our lives), our own community version of Facebook/MySpace (which are fully integrated as well).

The Ashland Resource Center has opened up a new forum, more sophisticated and creative for ongoing, intelligent conversation, meet and greet your neighbors and friends, for those open-hearted and willing to share and exchange.

Let us open up all channels of communications available to us (not limited by anything but our imaginations). All channels of communications are open and integrated. All portals including Web Spirit Community and EQ.tv are included.

So let’s identify the barriers to taking effective action in all areas of our lives. What stops us from doing what we know we can and could?
